The restaurant, which dates back to the early part of this century, was originally a traditional trattoria run by "Gener", the typical fisherman of the village.
The Fassi family (with Piero Fassi in the dining rooms, his wife Pina and daughters Maria Luisa and Maura in the kitchen) took over in 1971 and completely refurbished the restaurant in keeping with the originai style.
The various rooms of the restaurant, which were furnished by Antonio Guarene, have become the perfect place to discover the pleasures of everyday life while enjoying the prestige of a long-established tradition.
Gener Neuv is one of Italy's most famous restaurants and a favourite meeting place for international celebrities and artists.
